Oh right.

I ALSO forgot...that I got my passport today and everything is in order.

Whew. Relax.

By the way...

I am fascinated by The Tudors.

It's so great to see something worthwhile on television!

P.S. Forgot to mention that I saw Fats yesterday. And today the clouds looked like a funeral procession, dipping low...

Beards...they grow on you.

The Tudors is fantastic. I'm surprised at how well the political realm of Henry is depicted...and how close they come to actual events in his life.

A movie is currently on TCM, one of the Barrymore family movies. Let me just say how strangely creepy it is to see Drew's late family, looking so much like her. It must be even stranger for her. While I have pictures of my great aunts and grandfathers, she has movies.

Whitman paper is done and I'm glad.

Fuck passports.

That's all I have to say.

(Insert *coughbullshitcough* here)

I know.

It's been awhile, but I'm still very busy...

I've been working extra shifts at school at Shea's to pay for my trip. My paper is due this week and I haven't finished finding sources yet. If I can get through this week I think I'm in the clear.

Man, oman.

Study-study-studying. Paper-paper-papering. I've got two down, one very long one to go.

I don't want to!

Spring breakin'

I'm back to class tomorrow, but speaking of classes, I have some good news: I only have 24 credit hours left to graduate. By this time next year I'll be finishing up. Five years? Psh. Four!

Laura got here Thursday and left today. The airport was super dead, as it is Easter Sunday. The service at church today was really nice. It's weird to think that Grandma was there last year. I found something today that she had given me along with some old fabrics. She had zip-lock bagged little sample shampoos and soaps and things...like she always used to do. It's nice to come across things like that.

Anyway, Laura and I slept A LOT over the weekend, though that's probably a good thing as the coming week is going to get busy. We saw a movie, had dinner with the whole family, and went up the Niagara-on-the-Lake and The Buttery. I haven't been up there since I went with Grandma and my aunt. I hope Laura had fun...it's weird to spend time with someone that's about as talkative as I am, and that's not very much at all. We're talking about going to California together this summer, which I really hope works out. And we agreed that we should try to make it down to North Carolina for the vacation that my uncle has put together.

If all of those things happen, it will be a busy busy summer. I'll be leaving for Europe in almost a month. It's still very surreal. I'll believe it when I'm on the plane.

Cleaned out my closet today. I found pants, sweaters, and shirts that I totally forgot I had. It's like going shopping all over again. Speaking of shopping, Laura and I did that too, but this weekend was waaay too cold to wear any of the shirts I bought. Brrr.

Hopefully it'll warm up soon.
